I usually have different kinds of books going at once. For example, currently, I am reading Revolutionary Road, Pen on Fire, Making It All Work, Creating True Peace, and The Well-Educated Mind. So that's a novel, a book about writing, a self-help type productivity book, a spiritual book, and a book about--well, other books! I read Pen on Fire before bed because Rev. Road is a little depressing. So I read that during the day. Making It All Work is on my iPod for the gym, and the other two I've been dabbling in when I want a break from the others. Sometimes, if I am reading two novels, I'll have one light one and another that's a bit more substantial.
So, what are you all reading right now? Anything good?

I'm reading Art Spiegelman: Maus I and II. Loving this commic lots! I saw the movie Revolutionary road and really like it lots,...hmm i bet the book should be even better. Have a lovely merry happy day and love to you!
I'm reading:
Trick of the Mind by Cassandra Chan (my boyfriend's mom knows the author) - it's #3 in a trilogy and I'm enjoying the series.
Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy - enjoying the story, but my dedication to reading it has dropped off since I started the series mentioned above.
Ismael by Daniel Quinn - this is a re-read for me. I read it first in high school (not assigned) and remember loving it. Just started.
Plus I have tons and tons of blogs to read! And I have new YA Novel in the mail that I can't wait to receive(Extras by Scott Westerfeld)!
Happy reading!
Hi - I have been meaning to read Revolutionary Road for awhile, but the somewhat sad theme of the book has held me back. I have just finished The Age of Innocence that also was bittersweet, so I have been wanting a more upbeat book to read. I have not found it yet. Do you have a recommendation?
I'm reading Revolutionary Road too - although not so much lately with the blogging class!
Ooh thanks for sharing your books everyone!
Elizabeth, What kind of books do you like? Mostly fiction or non-fiction? For feel good fiction, I always turn to Jane Austen. I'll try to think of some others as well!
Hi Caitlin, I just recently went through all of my Jane Austen books and wanted to try something new. I like most types of books except murder mysteries.
